Though he pursued theatre throughout his life, his undergraduate degree was in Political Science and English Literature. It wasn't until after he graduated from undergrad that he decided to forgo his interest in political journalism to pursue acting. After making the move to Chicago for his MFA, he was thrilled to have worked with Tony Award winning regional theaters such as The Goodman Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Lookingglass Theater Company, as well as Writers Theatre and The Colorado Shakespeare Festival. He left Chicago in 2009 to return east and live in NYC. In 2015, he found himself drawn back to Chicago where he has found himself making the transition into working regularly in commercial and television. He has now made Chicago his home and lives with his one plant, and all of his books.
