Sarah Rodgers is a well-known theatre director and theatre/film/television actress based in Vancouver, B.C. She received her BFA (Acting) and MFA (Directing) from The University of British Columbia. Sarah has worked for many theatre companies in Vancouver and across Canada including The Arts Club Theatre, Pacific Theatre, Solo Collective, Studio 58, PI Theatre, Ruby Slippers, The Gateway Theatre, Persephone Theatre, The Citadel Theatre, Theatre Under the Stars, Chemainus Theatre Festival, Western Canada Theatre, Theatre NorthWest and The Guild up in the Yukon. Sarah performed in the hit Axis Theatre show The Number 14 across Canada and toured extensively throughout the United States and Japan. Sarah's popular production of Billy Bishop Goes to War developed at The University of BC and starring Ryan Beil and Zachary Gray toured to many theatres across Canada including The Arts Club Theatre and Persephone Theatre and The Belfy in Victoria and garnered her a Jessie Richardson Award for Outstanding Direction. Sarah has been nominated (and won) many times (as an actor and director) for The Jessie Richardson Professional Theatre Awards and Musical Theatre Ovation awards. Sarah has returned to film after a busy theatre career and was thrilled to land a role in the hit series Riverdale and the new comedy series Woke for Hulu Productions.
