Sandra Scragg (nee Geldenhuys) was born in Pretoria, South Africa to a Swiss mother and South African father. With her diplomat parents and brother, Sandra lived in many different countries, including Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Canada, South Africa, Switzerland, Germany and France. Her passion for acting started at a very young age with her first stage appearance at 6 years old. She continued to perform and learn her craft till college benefiting from the expertise of dedicated professionals. She attended the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and earned a B.A. Honors degree and then went on to receive her diploma in Hotel Management in Switzerland. The week following graduation, Sandra boarded one of the Windstar Cruises sailing ships in Monaco and subsequently enjoyed a successful career with Windstar and her parent company, Holland America Line, both onboard and in the corporate office until she retired to stay home with her son in 2006. Sandra started teaching drama at her son's school and built up the drama program over the next 10 years to include drama as an elective, after school drama, spring musicals and directing the annual competition entry, which were invariable award-winning. In March 2015, Sandra felt called to attend AMTC's (Actors, Models and Talent for Christ) open auditions. She received a place in their 9-month intensive performing program culminating with performing in their bi-annual talent showcases for industry VIP's.
