Susan Kemp grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, the youngest of seven. Growing up, her parent's owned and operated a local movie theater and it's in that little four screen multiplex that she developed a love of cinema and storytelling. Wanting to explore and learn about film more in depth, she attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Los Angeles, California, where she began an internship for Marty Katz at Marty Katz Productions. From there she continued to grow and learn as filmmaker by shooting and editing her own short films and music videos. In addition to making her own art, Susan has been a story producer on numerous shows for networks like NBC, ABC, and CBS. Currently residing in Los Angeles, Susan is working towards one day writing and directing her own feature films and television.
