Robert McKeehen has always been a performer. From neighborhood plays during his childhood in which he was producer, director, writer and star (admission was a nickel) to his latest award-winning performances in film and television, McKeehen likens his life-long need for stage and screen to breathing. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, McKeehen has enjoyed lead roles in internationally released feature films, theater and national commercials, as well as guest and starring roles in network television.

As the son of an artist Robert was surrounded by art and images his whole life and began taking night courses in advanced photography while still a junior in high school. During that time he also became the Canadian Cycling Champion and a Canada Games Gold medalist but left a promising sporting career to pursue film exclusively. First studying Fine Art at University of British Columbia and then Film and Communications at Simon Fraser University. Upon leaving college, he founded OmniFilm Productions in Vancouver in 1979 where he produced, directed and photographed many international documentaries including numerous award winning environmental and conservation films for Greenpeace and other international clients including the BBC and NFB. Meanwhile, he also produced, directed and photographed over 350 TV commercials between 1980 and 1990 prior to pursuing dramatic cinematography exclusively. Since then, he has demonstrated remarkable versatility as a cinematographer, moving between projects in every genre and budget range with unusual ease. In the process, winning many awards and amassing hundreds of credits, including a return to wearing the Director/Cinematographer "hat" in 2007 with 68 2nd. unit shooting days on The Golden Compass in London, England and later, additional stunt unit work on Dragonball Evolution in Mexico. His technical and artistic mastery combined with a collaborative nature can be credited with being described as " A director's dream" by former collaborators. He has been a member of the CSC since 1985 and was honored with membership in the hallowed ASC in 2002.

Robert S. McNamara was born in San Francisco, California on June 9, 1916. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1937 with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Philosophy. He went on to earn a Masters degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1939 and had a job of teacher here from 1940 to 1943. He left in 1943 to join the Army Air Force, where he was awarded the Legion of Merit and promoted to lieutenant colonel before going on inactive duty in April 1946. After leaving the military he was hired by Henry Ford II who wanted educated people to help him modernize the Ford Motor Company that was near bankruptcy after years of bad management by its founder, Henry Ford. He was elected as a director of the company in 1957, and became the president in 1960. His short stay as president came to an end in January 1961 when President John F. Kennedy appointed him as Secretary of Defense. In October 1962, he was one of the key officials in the Cuban Missile Crisis. During the Vietnam War, McNamara found himself increasingly at odds with the administration's policies, particularly when Lyndon B. Johnson became president after the assassination of John F. Kennedy. His growing opposition to both US involvement in Vietnam and deployment of a major missile defense shield troubled military officials. Robert McNamara resigned from office on 29 February 1968. President Johnson awarded McNamara the Medal of Freedom and the Distinguished Service Medal. He became president of the World Bank Group of Institutions in April of 1968, retiring in 1981. Since his retirement he has written 5 books and spoken on a variety of humanitarian subjects, which earned him numerous honorary degrees and prizes.
