In 2020-2021, he performed live online in numerous performances of Tom Cavanaugh's award-winning Zoom thriller Now, Now, Now... Notable short films showcasing Robert include Tip Toe, which screened at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, Attack Of The Film Festivals, which won Best Short Film Comedy at the 2015 Burbank International Film Festival, and 2016's multiple award-winning Happy Hour, in which he gets to show his romantic side. His latest short film appearance, Moving Violation, will be premiering in July 2022 at the LA Shorts Festival. The Book Club, short comedy produced by and starring Robert and Christine DiTillio, who also wrote the screenplay, is on the festival circuit. Robert's short horror script, Easy To Scare, was a 2019 winner of the We Make Movies Short Film Challenge. He also directed and produced the film along with Christine, who plays Janet.
