Molly Elizabeth Ring was born on February 26th, in Edina, Minnesota. She loved performing from a young age; for kindergarten through 8th grade, she attended The Blake School which was a school that offered arts classes, including drama, every year. It was in these drama classes that Molly realized she was going to be an actor. At the age of 8, Molly was approached asked to be in a catalog for a local store. This started an interest in modeling as well, which flourished into many jobs in the future. Molly loved performance so much, that she decided to transfer to Main Street School of Performing Arts in 9th grade. At MSSPA, Molly was a theatre "major" who also worked on music. While in high school, Molly started taking her career head on with a multitude of acting classes (both in and out of school), singing lessons, modeling jobs, and of course, school plays. Although she was in many plays throughout her school years, her favorites remain The Murder Room, RENT, and Pirates of Penzance. Before graduating from MSSPA with high honors, Molly was awarded both a letter in theater and an arts endorsement. While in high school, Molly also had a chance to work on films being shot in the Twin Cities area. Most notable of which was A Serious Man by the Coen Brothers. Although she still loves theater, Molly found her true passion to be film. Because of this, she moved to California to pursue acting and attend the University of California, Santa Barbara. She chose to major in psychology to help her better understand the inner workings of the characters she plays. As a freshman she became the music director of the UCSB Glee club and in her sophomore year she joined the Delta Delta Delta sorority. These experiences, along with college as a whole, helped shape her into a more well rounded individual with an ability to play a wider variety of characters. Molly graduated from UCSB and has since moved to Los Angeles.
