Miranda Wilson was born in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Her given name was Cheryl Ann, which she changed to Miranda, in her late twenties. Today she uses Miranda Cheryl-Ann Wilson on Facebook, and MirandaCAWilson on Instagram and Twitter, given the rise in popularity of the name Miranda in the USA, since the early 1990's. In 2014 Miranda returned to her career, after an extended absence raising her children. Several award winning short films, feature films, and a recurring role on the new Showtime series Halo (2022) have relaunched her career, and Miranda is now back on the screen and stage, full time. Early life and the start a professional career. After moving around a great deal in her childhood, her family settled in the San Francisco Bay Area when she was 10. Growing up in California was ideal. There was the easy access to the natural world, which she loves, and the excellent public schools, which were extremely well resourced. During her four years in high school, Miranda had the opportunity to perform in 9 stage productions in a beautiful 500 seat proscenium arch theatre with a full orchestra pit, fly loft and trap room. Musicals, comedies and dramas. A perfect training ground for a life in the acting arts. After high school, Miranda did a four year Fine Arts degree at University of California, Santa Barbara, majoring in Theatre Arts with an Acting emphasis. After graduating from UCSB, Miranda headed to LA where she worked two different jobs as a waitress, for two months, saving enough to drop the night job and audition for a play. It was this performance, as Lady Kathleen Kennett Scott in 'Terra Nova' by Ted Tally, at The Morgan Wixson Theatre in Santa Monica, that secured her the audition for Days of Our Lives (1965). And that was the start of her professional career. Marriage and Family. In 1990 Miranda married Richard Lassalle a dashing Englishman. She left her acting career when they chose to move to France and start a family. In 1998 the family moved to Lewes, East Sussex where Miranda was project manager and co-founder of a holistic primary school. She spent the next 16 years raising her two children, and studying and coaching others in Emotional Intelligence. In 2014 Miranda decided it was time to return to her career, now that the children were grown.

She played in Hürkus movie based life of aviator Vecihi Hürkus. She studied for one year in English Preparatory Class of Cemal Resit Rey Fine Arts High School in 2013. She studied cello, piano, singing in Music Department of Cemal Resit Rey Fine Arts High School and studied her final year in Music Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts High School. But she left the fine arts high school due to absences. She continues her education by correspondence for high school. Her paternal relatives are actors Aras Bulut Iynemli (cousin), Orçun Iynemli (cousin), Cengiz Daner (uncle), Ilhan Daner (grandfather's brother). She has an older sister, fashion designer Ipek Nur Daner. Her grandfather (maternal) is Turkish origin who immigrated from Greece to Turkey.
