Lisa Rodgers is known for Battle: Los Angeles (2011), The Chronicles of Riddick (2004) and Total Recall (2012).
Lisa Rodríguez was born and raised in Los Angeles to hard working parents. Often times, her grandmother, who only spoke Spanish, would watch her resulting in Lisa's first language to be Spanish. Her mixed ethnic heritage (Mexican, Native American [Apache & Azteca], just to name a few) lends to her ethnic ambiguity. After her parents divorce when she was eight, her mother had their family attend Angelus Temple. It was there that she got her first taste of performing through singing in the children's choir and acting in musicals in front of an audience of over 1,000 people. And she has loved it ever since. Lisa has played Sedna in An Arctic Tale with the North by South theatre company. BBC World came out and scouted their performance opening weekend. They made it all the way to the final cut for a docu-series. Lisa has also appeared in The Actor's Co-Op musical "Ruthie & Me". Performing in front of an audience will always have a special place in her heart, but most recently, she has focused on performing in front of the camera. Understanding acting for camera is different than stage, she has taken various positions behind the camera to better understand the actor's role. As a result, she has penned a feature length dramedy and short films. Currently Lisa is developing a miniseries, feature film, and short films. Lisa was also a contributor to Joseph Gordon-Levitt's hitRECord and her work was used on the Emmy award (Creative Achievement in Interactive Media for Social TV Experience) winning first season of hitRECord TV. Archery has afforded Lisa new achievements of State Champion, state record holder, National Champion, and being part of the US team for the World Field Archery Championships. When not performing, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family & friends, learning, sharpening her archery skills, reading/collecting Rogue from the X-men comics, and one of her earliest & most passionate loves, The Legend of Zelda.
