Lisa was born in Durban, South Africa. After living in Curacao in the Caribbean for 20 years, she emigrated to Canada in 2007. In 2016, she followed her childhood dream to be part of the film industry. In 2017, she took acting lessons and earned her first role on "Captured". She went on to play various roles in TV & web series. In 2018, Lisa ventured into film making and produced her first two films "Death Game" & "What if?" Since then, she has produced several other projects including the comedy series, Pink Is In.
Lisa Cromarty (Anishinaabe) is a First Nations actor born and raised in Northern Ontario. She is a member of the Wikwemikong Unceded Indian Reserve located on Manitoulin Island. She has trained at the Centre for Indigenous Theatre and Canada's National Voice Intensive. In addition to acting, she also has trained at the Stratford Theatre Festival to become a voice coach.
