Jaimi McPeek was born in Port Charlotte, Florida and currently resides in Sarasota, Florida. She started dancing when she was 5 years old and instantly fell in love with it. By the time she was 10, she knew she wanted to pursue a professional track, so she started taking lessons with professionals in the industry. At age 13, she decided to try musical theatre and landed her first leading role at age 14. She completely fell in love with the whole aspect of being a triple threat, as she adored dancing while acting and singing. She loved the story it told and being able to bring that story to life all while making people smile. At age 15, she got into her first Broadway season show, Catch Me If You Can, that had sold out crowds every single night. That was a feeling she cannot forget. SInce then, Jaimi has been in over a dozen musicals such as Sweet Charity, The Addams Family, Follies, and Into The Woods (twice). When she was 16, she decided to take film acting classes just to give it a try. Little did she know that film acting would become her whole life. It was a release, a passion, a craft, and a whole new world all in one. At age 17, she got on her first film set and loved it more than words could ever describe. After that, she kept auditioning and kept booking more work. Jaimi continues to work and study her acting and her dancing. She also continues to take singing lessons and sometimes will sing live at restaurants. She models and has been published in 6 magazines up to date. Jaimi is passionate about performing and can't imagine doing anything else with her life. She works in the following five capacities: film-acting, stage-acting, dancing, singing, and modeling. She won't stop until she is able to look back and say "I made it". When Jaimi is not performing, she has a plethora of hobbies and interests that keep her busy. She is a big science nerd and has self taught herself quantum physics. She loves physics as well as chemistry and astronomy. Jaimi is a huge animal activist, a vegan and is a very active member of PETA, ASPCA, The Humane Society, WWF and Defenders Of Wildlife. She believes in being the voice for the voiceless. Jaimi is very into fitness and works out every day. She not only remains active through dance, but she can be found under the sea scuba diving with the aquatic world. Jaimi self taught herself Spanish and can now speak it fluently; she also self taught herself piano. With her eidetic memory, she watches a video of someone playing a song, and she is able to mimic it and teach her hand muscles how to work that way. Jaimi is very into art, with oil pastels being her specialty. She loves making artwork as gifts. She is a very down to earth person who loves adventuring and trying new things. Jaimi never allows herself to get bored. She loves being productive with her time; however, nothing beats quality family time and being surrounded by the ones she loves.

Jaimie Alexander was born in Greenville, South Carolina, but moved with her family to Grapevine, Texas, when she was four years old. She took theatre classes in grade school as a hobby but was kicked out in high school because she could not sing, and so she took up sports instead. At age 17 she substituted for a friend at a meeting with a scouting agency and she met her manager, Randy James, who sent her some scripts. After graduating from high school she moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue acting. Her career was launched in 2003 when she was cast in the leading role of Hanna Thompson in the low-budget award-winning film The Other Side (2006). According to the DVD commentary, she was originally at the audition to help out by reading against the male actors, but director Gregg Bishop decided to cast her in the leading role after hearing her perform the lines. Her second role was in 2004 in Squirrel Trap (2004), in which she played the co-lead role of Sara. A year later she was cast as Jessi XX on the ABC Family series Kyle XY (2006), in which she played the role of a superhuman being created by scientists as a laboratory experiment. She was nominated for the Saturn Awards as "Best Supporting Actress on Television" for that role in 2008. Her biggest role came in 2011, when she was cast as Lady Sif, a warrior goddess of Asgard, in the blockbuster from Marvel Comics, Thor (2011). She later reprised her role in its sequel, Thor: The Dark World (2013).
Jaimie grew up in the Midwest, attending Ohio University for a Bachelor's Degree in Photography and Columbia College Chicago for a Master's Degree in Music Management. Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, she found her passion in TV/film production with her talents in Casting.
