Shortly after, Dalton broke his collarbone and, unable to ride his dirt-bike for a few weeks, he contacted an agent and they setup an audition for a feature film I Lack. He landed his first acting job and that was the start of Dalton's love for acting. Dalton was born into the biz: his parents Chris and Cyndi and his brothers Kellan and Ronn are all actors. He traveled all around the country from a young age, settling in Oklahoma for ten years. He played baseball and football as a child (and is still an avid Yankees and Oklahoma Sooners fan) but it was dancing where he found his passion. When his grandmother (ChiChi) introduced him to classic Hollywood films, Dalton was inspired by his now-idols Gene Kelly and Charlie Chaplin and began tap dancing at age two...and hasn't stopped since. He continued to dance, training at the French Academie of Ballet, and starring as Young Junior in the New York City Center Encores production of On Your Toes. His family moved back to New York City, which he now calls home. He graduated from LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts as a Drama major and helped create the roles of Ralphie in A Christmas Story the musical and Jack in Finding Neverland the musical. One of his favorite credits is performing in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and he is grateful to have worked with theatrical luminaries such as Rob Ashford, Kathleen Marshall, and Warren Carlyle.
