At Border2Border Entertainment, our mission from when we started 10 years ago has been to tell stories promoting diversity and challenging the norm by creating cinematic experiences that reflect the authentic lives of the underrepresented. Our first focus was the LGBTQ2S+ community. Growing up in rural Canada, these were stories rarely glimpsed in history books, television, film or entertainment with the exception of a character being the butt of a joke or meeting a fatal end quickly in the narrative. Our passion to honestly and creatively craft stories for the LGBTQ2S+ audience has propelled our passion and resulted in the creation of hundreds of hours of diverse screen based content including feature films, documentary, global travel, music videos, scripted miniseries, dating shows, audiobooks, and branded short form content with partners ranging from major banks and insurance companies to provincial health organizations and dating apps. We are dedicated to ethnic diversity and the promotion of both female and male careers behind and in front of the camera in our casting/hiring with the aim of authentically representing Canada. We are also committed to the exploration of stories of those over the age of 60 - for whom opportunities considerably decrease in number and significance.
