Brian Bremer was born in Hickory, North Carolina in 1967. He attended university on a full theatre scholarship to Pepperdine University, in Malibu, California. Here, he found representation and was soon cast as Bunt Wallace in the cult hit "Pumpkinhead", opposite Lance Henrickson and Cynthia Bain. He went onto star in a string of innovative horror and science fiction films, including the controversial "Society", directed by Brian Yuzna. In this genre, Brian worked with directors Tobe Hooper and Stan Winston and actors Mickey Rooney and Morgan Fairchild. During his time in Los Angeles, Brian also appeared as recurring character Milo Trump on the CBS television series, "TV 101". In 1994, Brian moved to Atlanta, GA and wrote lyrics and performed as lead singer for the band, "Elijuun Zoo", performing at the 1996 Olympic Games. The band was successful locally, but dissolved in 1997. Brian continued his career in film and theatre arts, working as an actor, stage manager and producer for regional film and theatre projects. In 2000, Brian returned to the screen as Lt. Vandemeer to Billy Dee Williams's alchoholic police seargent in the Stage and Frame production "Good Neighbor". He most recently appeared in the Jim Kveisel film, "Stroke of Genius", to be released Spring 2004. Still residing in Atlanta, Brian is active in Arts fundraising, film and theatre.
Brian Brightly began his career in development as a Story Analyst, and has been instrumental in the project development of movies at Disney, Universal Pictures and Dreamworks, including Fast & Furious, Bourne Identity, Munich, and Jarhead. He wrote INSIDE MAN: MOST WANTED and TREMORS: SHRIEKER ISLAND, for Universal 1440, distributed on Netflix. He is Executive Producing CARNIVAL for Sony International, and Associate Produced IRONCLAD for Mythic. One of few Westerners working now in Asia, he wrote the action film OPERATION WILD, an India-China co-production, for Renny Harlin, and is co-writing two action films for global star Wu Jing, whose franchises (WOLF WARRIOR, EARTH WANDERING) have made billions at the box office. He is also Executive Producing for, and wrote, BANG-BANG, for Zero Gravity to Produce, and Eric Yoon to direct, in Japan. He delivered FOX HUNT for Fox International, a Hong Kong-based action film, and SHANGHAI STAR for Ivanhoe Pictures, set in Shanghai. He is repped by UTA's Max Michael and Fourth Wall's Jon Huddle for features.
Brian grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. After high school, Brian spent three years in New York City, studying under Herbert Berghof at HB Studio and working as a tour guide at Radio City Music Hall. After building his film and theater resume in Seattle and Los Angeles, Brian moved to Orlando, where he continues to pursue his future Oscar.
